You know I love this! And not just because of the shoutout (which was very nice of you) but because I'm stoked to hear real experiences and suggestions from someone who has actually changed careers and can deeply empathize with this journey, as opposed to those just spreading overheard gyan!
Haha thank you Arjun, I couldn't talk about pivoting without mentioning pivot! A lot of people have reached out to say that they can relate, which just goes to show how common pivots really are, even though we don't hear a lot about them..at least not as much as the generic gyan we see (maybe they're starting to drown out genuine voices!)
Saanya!!!! I won't call myself a serial job switcher, but I can definitely relate with career pivoting before it became a trend. I remember those early days of LinkedIn when I had to cold email people just to get an internship. LinkedIn was my go-to for everything to do with career transitions. Your post just hit home for me, and I can't wait to see your next post.
Thanks Kritika! Yes, I remember you also talked about career pivoting in one of your newsletters? And I know you've had a really interesting transition yourself, so I am glad you could identify :) Lots more to come on this topic! And in the meanwhile, here's something I wrote during one of my many switches, which somehow became one of my best-performing blog posts! https://www.saanyagulati.com/2015/06/how-i-quit-the-social-sector-to-join-the-corporate-world/

Excited for this undecided-part series :)
